Alice suffered strict rationing of The Sims 2and Dave oh hello Dave was looked at with concern while playing Silent Hill. And we're still sneaking out of bed to play games today. Alice has been kidnapping policemen in Cultist SimulatorDave has been scurrying around a dungeon as a musical mouse in Ghost of a Taleand Brendan has given up booting zombies from the rooftops of Dying Light. Probably only one of these games is suitable for children. Also, keep your earholes primed for some bonus facts about axolotls.
Are there any similar games on pc really? Third person action adventures that is. Only ones that come to mind are Tomb Raider and Dead Space.
Maybe some of the Resident Evils too. Am I missing something? Where have you been?
Alice: Madness Returns This thread. Brothers is kinda in the same ballpark, mind you. Still a good game.
Brothers was an ok game, not so much similarities in game play but maybe some in overall tone. Manhunt is too old to be tried, pre-widescreen era games are rarely good experiences. Well, jnx mentioned Resident Evil in his post. I only ever completed the game on normal, but apparently the game systems e. Also it did very much feel like watching a tv-series. The Last of Us has fairly standard difficulty levels, IIRC - higher simply means enemies are tougher and do more damage, and supplies are harder to come by.
Alan Wake : The game is set in an idyllic all-American small town and its surroundings in the state of Washington. In the game, those nightmares come true. Resident Evil 6 :With 4 unique, yet overlapping story thre, each with their naughty pc games pair of protagonists, not only does Resident Evil 6 deliver different perspectives and play styles but, with the introduction of the innovative Crossover mechanic players are be able to team up and share the horror with others.
Remember Me: Imagine Neo-Paris, Personal memories are now digitised, bought, sold and traded like commodities. The last vestiges of privacy and intimacy have been extinguished in what feels like a logical progression of the explosive growth of social networks at the start of the 21st century. The citizens themselves have given in to this surveillance society in exchange for the comfort only smart technology can provide. This memory economy transfers immense power over society to just a small group of people. The authorities, fearful of her knowledge and skills arrested Nilin and wiped away her memory.
After her escape from prison, Nilin embarks on a mission to recover her identity, helped by her last and only friend. This search for her past le to her being hunted by the very people that created this surveillance society. Max Payne : For Max Payne, the tragedies that took his loved ones years ago are wounds that refuse to heal.
But as events spiral out of his control, Max Payne finds himself alone on the streets of an unfamiliar city, desperately searching for the truth and fighting for a way out. Other than the first max payne I only got wip games. The effects when the Taken turn up still freak me out no end.
The combat in TLoU made me feel physically sick, strung out and shaking with tension from start to finish. Gave up, never went back.
Maybe take a look at Enslaved: Odyssey to the WestI recall it being a semi-decent third person action adventure. I could tell you to keep an eye on the evil within, rtu, overgrowth etc but then again they are wip and I never played a ND game. Lets be honest here, nothing is like Last Of Us,so its kinda hard to recommend anything similar experience. Okay for Uncharted there is new Tomb Raider on pc,which is total rip off of the other game with more serious tone….
EDIT: Kudos on your topic title, by the way. It fooled me, at least. GameCat UTC 3. Larry series, hehehehe. But yeah, I feel PC lacks adventure games. Or that PC games lack adventure.
GameCat UTC 6. Lethe UTC 7. DaftPunk UTC GameCat UTC Wenz UTC Kiril UTC Wake has a great atmosphere and a good story.
Max Payne 3 is a debatable one, some hate it. I really liked it, I loved how cinematic it felt. Chevy UTC
