I started a playthrough yesterday, and even though I already plan on rerolling maybe you saw my other post I wanted to talk about this. I am using "live another life" and did a couple of things before heading to the main story. In bleak falls barrow I picked the "Game of Fate" perk at level 9 or 10 in hope of it paying off in the long run. The unlooted chest I was standing next to while asing the perk then immediately turned into a container of fate. Is that insane luck, or a bug? It was basically a free 15k gold with no downsides at that moment.

Use VioLens instead. I recall that one working fine with Ordinator.

Posted 09 April - AM. I found it very hard to get use of that perk. Sideway power attacks are notoriously hard to land and warhammers have very high stamina cost. The time limit makes it even harder.

So my suggestions are: 1. Remove the time limit.

I noticed that one the chests of fate was a prisoner belongings chest got caught and was looking for the evidence chest and it gt me worried about compatibility with scripted or quest based locked containers.

Not sure if this is a bug or just because Skyrim, but when you have the Rat King perk from conjuration, and it activates, your current summon dies. Posted 09 April - PM. Quick early-midgame review of a first-time-ever stealth character. So, for the first time in my four years of playing Skyrim, I've finally decided to switch away from magic or might, and try stealth. It was a tough decision, because every single magic tree in Ordinator is fantastic, especially if you have an open-minded approach and can accept "drawbacks" I do think more should come back!

So anyway, for the first time I'm attempting stealth.

Game of fate

I grab my light armor, my first bow, the Thieves Guild first time doing that too As I progress, I pickup the nifty perk Tripwire. Now, at first, I was nervous about this skill, because it revealed to me how "manual" the stealth aspect of Ordinator was.

It made me pay closer attention to the Tripwire tree, the Bear Trap tree, and the entirety of Pickpocket. The more I played around with Tripwire, though, the more I realized it's absolutely amazing. I always want as many advantages as I can, effectively "kiting" him if possible. Tripwire gives you that 5 or more seconds you need to absolutely destroy someone, but if you screw it up, thanks to most of the other perks in Sneak you can effectively disengage from combat and try again.

Everything about the Sneak, Lockpicking, and Pickpocket trees as I gain access to them is good. They appeal to me in a fun, gamey way.

About Lockpicking and Pickpocket specifically, I find it amazing how effectively combat was tied into what are largely regarded as "useless trees" in other perk overhauls. I could hotwire this Centurion, or plant Death's Emperor on Thrawn, trip him, then backstab him with every power attack thanks to all of the dagger perks available.

And best of all, I have fun doing it. I don't feel cheap.

I don't feel like I need a damage weapon to go with me to ensure my "stealthy kills", I don't need to fluff anything. If I had to list anything I didn't like about the trees, it would have been the obvious Trained Rabbit or Game of Fate, the latter because I struggle with checking containers, and the former with knowing how bad Rabbit pathing is in this game.

However, it's hard to complain about completely optional, unique, one-off perks that require nothing beforehand and bar the player from nothing further. TLDR; I'm bad at writing, your stealth trees are incredible and bug free from my experience and they make Skyrim a whole lot more fun and active to sneak in.
